After hours and hours of planning, the day was finally here. Glenn and his now-fiancée walked past the MV BEL in Darling Harbour. Our skipper was instructed to pretend he didn’t have a booking. Glenn asked if the MV BEL was a water taxi, and if she could do a transfer to the other side of the city.
Our skipper played along and said, “You’re lucky! We had a last-minute cancellation, so I can fit you in.”
The hard part was done! It was all smooth sailing from here.
Our skipper was instructed to drive to Lavender Bay, where a beautiful “Marry Me” setup was waiting. Glenn popped the question there. After hearing “Yes!”, Glenn and his fiancée stepped back on board with a professional photographer for a stunning photo session before disembarking at the Opera House for celebratory drinks. This anonymous couple booked one of our customised Wedding Packages and decided to spend the night on a superyacht in Sydney Harbour after getting married. The MV BEL was used as a transfer vessel, as the superyacht was too large to collect the couple directly from the wharf near their wedding venue. The MV BEL became their perfect escape vessel, transferring them to the superyacht waiting in the harbour.
